The Martha's Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby Committee Scholarships
Two four year scholarships awarded to Island High School graduates planning to continue their education in the field of science. Interested students should apply for these scholarships at the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School.

The Wayne Jackson Memorial Award
For the heaviest fish caught by a junior.

The Victor Danberg Trophies
For the heaviest bluefish caught by a junior boy and the heaviest bluefish caught by a junior girl.

The Chamber of Commerce Award
For the heaviest false albacore caught by a junior and for the heaviest shore bluefish caught by a senior.

The Cutler Bike Shop Award
Awarded by luck of the draw to two of the eight junior grand leaders one from the boat and one from shore.

The Dr. David Finklestein Award
For the heaviest boat and shore bluefish.
given in Memory of Bob Post

The Kastmaster Joe Memorial Award. Awarded to the individual who weighs in the heaviest shore Bluefish on the first day of the tournament.

The George H. Pye Award
For the heaviest shore bluefish caught by a resident and non-resident senior.

The daRosa Awards (2)
For the heaviest overall bluefish and for the heaviest overall striped bass.

The James P. Catlow Memorial Award
For the heaviest shore bluefish caught by a male resident.

The Roberto Germani Release Award (2)
Selected at random for the release of one bluefish, bonito, false albacore or striped bass. One entry per angler. One All Tackle award, one Flyrod award. See weigh-in for details.

The Orvis Boston Cup
For the flyrod contestant who holds a new Derby record at the end of the 2006 Derby. Existing records:
Bluefish - 18.11 lbs.
Bonito - 10.58 lbs.
False Albacore - 16.38 lbs.
Striped Bass - 42.14 lbs.

The Thomas Nessa Memorial Award
Awarded to the individual who weighs the heaviest striped bass on the first day of the tournament.

The Abe Williams Memorial Award
The first Angler to record an All-Tackle Shore Grand Slam

The Bill Ashak Memorial Award
Given to the junior who catches the heaviest striped bass from shore

The Thomas A. McCauley Award
Weigh any species under Badge Number 204 Boat or Shore.

The Robert "Huff" Langley Memorial Award
Selected at random from the Third Places in the All Tackle Division of each species caught from the Shore.

The Jetty Chipmunk Award
Largest shore bonito caught by a junior.

Sibling Spirit Award
In memory of David Furino to siblings who show determination and sportsmanship.

Senior Awards
In Honor of their past participation and support in the Derby.

The Derby committee reserves the right to create, adjust or delete additional categories, awards and prizes and to accept and create special presentations.
